- Antimuscarinic Effects
Pharmacokinetic :
It has little Gastro-Intestinal absorption
Contra-Indications :
-Glaucoma
- Acute porphyria
Cautions :
-Old patients
- Patients with hypertrophy of prostate, Urinary
Tract Obstruction
- Heart failure, Tachycardia, Paralytic
Intestinal Obstruction, Ulcerative colitis
,Pyloric stenosis
Side Effects :
- Dryness of mouth
- Decrease of accomodation
- Tachycardia
Hints :
Beware of driving and works need alertness due
to drowsiness
Dosage :
Adult : 20mg four times a day
Children : 6 years : 10 mg three times a day
